Community Support and Development

We continue to concentrate and give greater emphasis on improving levels of community involvement and development, as well as building social cohesion in the locality we operate. This gave some of the members using our services to take positive fuller role in decision-making process.

The worker also engaged with community members who need Referrals to specialist agencies and networking with other agencies to encourage users to play an active role in the community in which they live, sometimes also carrying out an outreach support service for those that are elderly and are too frail to visit our centre.
